Orry Henderson
Orry graduated with an honours degree in Sound and Video Technology from Salford University. For the last 20 years he has worked continuously in the arts and events industry, working predominantly in live theatre sound.
He has toured nationally and internationally mixing live sound for large scale musicals; corporate events and rock and roll gigs. He has also worked for the British army at the Royal Military School of Music based at Kneller Hall, where he is the mix engineers for their festival of concerts each year.
As a Production Sound Engineer, he installs and commissions sound systems for numerous large scale events.
In 2019 Orry was the recording engineer for Reis Taylor Dixon’s album Awake to Dream which has recently been released on Blue Spiral Records.

In recent months due to the pandemic and a decline in live events taking place, Orry has built on his recording experience to produce podcasts and digital audio content. Clients have covered a wide spectrum from yoga teachers to financial planning companies.
Working in the events industry has given Orry a keen eye for detail and a professional approach to each task required to fulfil a client’s needs. This also includes the ability to work to a tight schedule.
Orry’s personable and friendly approach means that he can get the best results when dealing with clients and artists. His professionalism and attention to detail ensure that the end product is of the highest quality. The industry has also given him an excellent level of adaptability and the skills to find solutions to the challenges that arise within projects.
